Established in Mabar Street, Medan, back in 1972 by Mr. Budihardjo Chandra and Mr. Chew Beow Beng, this was the third boxmaker to set up operations in Indonesia and the first such plant in North Sumatra. The first year of operation saw the production of just 1,000 tonnes of board. As the company expanded it eventually outgrew its facility and in October 1995 moved to 25,000 sq metre site on the Medan Industrial Estate. Currently the company employs 400 staff.
